Auvia's Designer
An Electrical Engineer from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, Frank Derrigo initiated his study and development of loudspeaker systems in 1987. He began designing commercially available audiophile loudspeakers with Von Schweikert Research in 1997, and was part of the design team responsible for the highly acclaimed VR-4 Gen II.
In 1999, Frank founded SCE Design, an outlet for his passion for invention, the recording arts, and audio engineering. Through SCE, he has developed and implemented multimedia installation projects ranging from through-home audio/video systems to training system instrumentation at the U.S. Army's Fort Drum in northern New York State.
SCE Design has also developed the highly refined Auvia Loudspeakers products, following years of continuing development and research.
